Didn't those two bullies know about Ben's idenity already in AF?
Were they just happy that Ben finally revealed his secret or some thing?

i think they just finally realised that he was really helping people with it.
they probably used to think he was some kind of freak that could turn into weird aliens.
but now, they saw on the news that he helps people and saves lives, they respect him now :)

Cash and JT already knew it was Ben in AF. In the episode "The Gauntlet", Ben even fights Cash. They were probably just clapping for him, since they knew he was really helping people..and since bullying gets old real fast.
