Disney is taking interest in buying Superman for Marvel. This just goes to show that the only thing the estate wants Superman for is profit. They take him from DC and sell him to Marvel for several million. I really hope DC wins this dispute.

It's not that easy superman is the most iconic out of the trinity (whether he is your favorite or not) you can't just replace him, even with someone who is also iconic like Captain Marvel.

What the hell Disney is buying everything!
Flash: Absolutely. Still, we could always use more raw power. And Earth has a third Green Lantern, Guy Gardner...
Hal Jordan/John Stewart: No.

Yea but they are buying it for MARVEL so it would just make superman a part of the MARVEL universe...I still have no idea how to feel about that

So how can disney buy superman is he for sale? Why dont they just combine Marvel and DC if Superman is leaving but if they do but DC it would be good. Better stories.Mixing the universes.Hell more theme park rides. But it just would not be the same. It would be like Coke buying Pepsi or McDonalds buying Burger King. Which would suck.

the decedents of the creator of superman might get the rights to superman and Disney is thinking of buying it for MARVEL.

Also the MARVEL and DC universe were once one in the 90's

So why would they do such a thing like sell Superman to Disney! It would be out of place! Hell what would DC do to Lex Luther or Bizarro in which DC has the rights too! This is insane! Any news from the homefront lads.

DC keeps the rights to his rouges, and this is the worst case scenario we are talking about. We don't know what will happen if DC loses

And kryptonite, but with out the origin story (which was lost) what point is there in having it? They could rewrite a new character, but it won't be the same.
