Def looking forward to this issue. Finally Static and the Titans go to Dakota. There is SO much potential opportunity here:

1) They could introduce Gear to the DCU. He could be Rick from the old Static series or Static Shock's Richie (Rick's cousin or relative). Anyway he could have been a latent Bang Baby similar to the cartoon. Gear could have remained in Dakota and now could be reunited with Static and hopefully join the Teen Titans.

2) Blood Syndicate. Hopefully they will make a significant appearance. Dakota, specifically the Paris Island section is their turf. Since their former member and now main enemy is wreaking havoc Blood Syndicate should definately get involve. It would also be interesting to see the Teen Titans battle Blood Syndicate. Maybe a slightly updated roster; Rubberband Man, Aquamaria, Fade, Dogg, Brickhouse, Boogie Man, Kwai, Wise Son, a rebelling Chatholic Girl (Xombi series) and a new Tech-9 (sister/female cousin to the orignal?).

3) Intro of Ebon and the Breed (Meta-Breed) from the Static Shock series. Ebon was the ultimate villain from the series and would be great nemesis for Static or DCU. Ebon's Breed could consist of his girlfriend Flashback (?!), Hotstreak,Tarmak, Masquerade and various Static Shock characters (Kangor, Shiv, Talon, etc). Ebon and the Breed could be a major rival to both Holocaust and Blood Syndicate.

Unfortunately DC has barely used any of the Milestone characters, but there is a world of potential. Hopefully this storyline will be the beginning of more exposure of these great characters.
