The Real Birth of the Cool

I'm not a fan of Teen Titans. But I am a fan of Static. I think TT would only stifle the good stories that are left in Dakota and all the Bang Babies. I don't want Static to go down the road of Black Lightning. From champ to what's him name again?

So Starting here and now We take a stand. A united front to get Static his own ongoing Solo.

Are ye in or are ye out?!

I'm in. In fact, I've boycotted all DC products (Excluding animated shows) until the new Static series comes out.

I know right?! I'm so psyched for this, and it seems Dwayne approves of the new writer, so I think this is the best comic news I've heard to date (Along with Spider-Man's "Big Time" and Black Panther becoming the new Man Without Fear.)

I liked the idea of Static being in the Titans. I would have liked for him to have built a significant following outside of those of us who are already fans. The revolving door of the Titans did/does concern me though.

I disagree. The Teen Titans werer IMHO nothing like teens. I think Static is as powerful as Firestorm, and therefore should be on the JLA.

In the animated series, right after the whole Brainiac ordeal, the JL did say Virgil would one day be a part of it.

It's rather full of Virgil and Richie esque drawings, so beware.

He did become a member in the JLU two parter, "The Once and Future Thing." And hell, Firestorm was a teenager and he joined the JLA. SUPERGIRL'S part of it. Why not Virgil? ;)
