Identify this Static issue and artist?I can't find my records about this page of art, and it's only marked "p. 4". Does anyone recognize the artist and/or what issue of Static it comes from?
Re: Identify this Static issue and artist?
The one Static Figure looks like Neil Vokes. Don't quote me on it, though. I don't remember this one.
Re: Identify this Static issue and artist?
Thanks, that's who I think it looks like too. Vokes drew #12, and I just looked up that issue on comics.org -- the monster on the cover (by Shawn Martinbrough) looks exactly like the one on my page. So, I think it's issue #12 p. 4. According to comics.org Kurt Busiek wrote #12, which might explain why you don't remember it well.

Is that the "D-Struct" issue? That was a good one. I offered Kurt the title on a regular basis when Bob Washington left, but Kurt passed.
Re: Identify this Static issue and artist?
that would be interseting, since if I remember right, he replaced Kurt on NINJAK. Mark Coale
Odessa Steps Magazine
Re: Identify this Static issue and artist?I think they co-wrote Ninjak for a while, then Bob continued solo, much like he did on Static.

I finally had time to get my copy out of storage, and #12 is indeed the "D-Struct" issue. I enjoyed rereading it -- the dialogue was terrific.
