Re: Creative "Liberties" With the Milestone CharactersThe art was just as i feared, not JP Leon, not Chris Cross, not up to snuff for Milestone.
Re: Creative "Liberties" With the Milestone Characters
The art in the Beetle / Hardware one was OK in terms of art, but I did keep getting distracted by Hrdware suddenly using boot-jeets instead of a backpack. As someone said in the early issue of Hardware, his backpacks were great because they loked more plausible than boot jets. It's a minor thing, but it bugged me. Also, the art in the Xombi / Spectre story was nicely reminiscent of JJ Birch. Re: Creative "Liberties" With the Milestone CharactersWell , he looked good except for the boot jets. Since when does he have boot jets instead of backpack rockets. Of course I missed all but the first JLA issue, so maybe there was a change I don't know about. The Static /Black Lightning issue , this one and Milestone Forever were the first comics I've bought in almost 2 years.

DC kept drawing boot jets. It drives me crazy. He's back to form in Milestone Forever.
