"Usually, when we adapt things, there's a really good hook, but there's not really a clear storyline. Or there's a really good story, but then no hook. We have to change it to make it work."

Also could you please give some specific examples where this was the case??

Thanks in advance.

Well i wont response for Dwayne of course, but i think he meant than you sometimes get a hook, wich would be a good idea for a story, like for example... "our world is actually the copy of another world and they use us for research" but the story develops very badly or they are not sure in wich way to go. And sometimes its otherwise, the story development is really clear and good, but the idea behind the story is something simple who dosn't attract too much attention, like "a group of heroes looking for artifacts to save their world".

The Stan Lee of our generation. He wrote different characters as if he had created them or had been writing them for years. Basically he got what the characters were about. A true legend who has made the greatest impact in comics since the creation of Black Lightning.

God speed my Maestro

Give Michael Turner a dap for me!

Yes, few contemporary writers were as prolific creating characters and controlling entire universes. He was the Stan of our generation.
