Re: Remembering DwayneViewing the Justice League Unlimited on tv; I recognized Dwayne McDuffie's name and remembered the Milestone Comic years. I envisioned him being around for many years; similar to Stan Lee. His passing has left me numb and astounded.
However his legacy shall stand the test of time.
Re: Remembering DwayneAs a college intern at Marvel when Dwayne was first there, I was privileged to be his assistant in the Special Projects Department, under Editor Bob Budiansky. I remember his pet project there was to get "Night Nurse" back into the lineup.
As he was celebrating the launch of Milestone at one of the NY cons, I reminded him of his "Night Nurse" interests, and Dwayne chuckled and said, "And it's STILL a good idea!" My last communication was on FB, complimenting him on his fantastic run on Cartoon Network's Justice League Unlimited. It was nice of him to reply and I was surprised he remembered me, all those years later. May he always live on in his creations.

![]() Absolutely brilliant. An artist should be modest but yet confident in their work and themselves, but not too confident that they become stuck up attention seeking pricks.
Re: Remembering DwayneCan you imagine if that was actually a show?

Re: Remembering Dwayne
It would have been cool but he was just trying to make a point, they would have been retarded to take him seriously. (OMG! Dwayne was such a good satirist...does that word even exist?) Temporary forum:
