Inc on the other hand goes for angular but you can totally tell the designers just were slapping things together with really lame bright color schemes that really try way to hard.

What's New Scooby Doo has all the elements I loved in every previous incarnation of the show

You like Get A Clue more than Mystery Inc? I find that strange. I always thought Mystery Inc looked better.
Get A Clue is funnier, gets too the heart of the characters better and still bringing in something new to Scooby and Shaggy, I like the brown scheme of the Scooby shows, the older Scooby shows were painted in a fairly dark color scheme. The newer stuff from the late 90s forward had a pretty iconic color scheme. The movies like Zombie Island look great because of budget and lighting that we don't get in the shows. I think people are tricked into thinking Mystery Inc looks better just because it's neon bright color scheme and extreme use of lighting. Just like how people think GR and YJ look so great despite not really having a big difference in the way the backgrounds are painted, the lighting gives it an extreme new contrast

well, I guess we can stick to the shows until anyone wants to switch to the movies but sticking on topic at the moment it looks like What's New is winning

If it wasn't for What's New, I would've predicted A Pup Named would win, it was such a fresh series at the time, well done too and nothing felt forced

I have to admit, What's New has to be my favourite new series of Scooby, the way they gave character new designs and slightly different personalities but still stayed true to the original idea of the show. But I'm still a sucker for the orignal 'Where are you?" too, though the humour is no way near as light as in later series.

Then, when I watched the first episode of Mystery Inc and was immediately put off by the dramatic chance to the whole premis of the show. Scooby and the Gang have ALWAYS lived in Coolsville, even the live action films keep that continuity, but now they have moved to crystal cove? It doesn't make sense. Then there was the personalities, Velma was too cynical and harsh, Daphne too clingy and dependant on Fred, and what really drove me up the wall was Fred's childish and down right ridiculous obsession with traps.

The way they practically forced the relationships down veiwers throats, really put me off. Scooby-Doo has never been a show that has needed character relationships to help it along. Yes through the years there has been a few minor ones, but not as raw as the ones in M.I.

I've grown up with Scooby, but the new series has seriously put me off.

I guess he considers the comedic factor of Get A Clue than Mystery Inc's designs. I liked Get A Clue for that. I don't know yet about Mystery Inc since I haven't watched it much but it looks very good.
