You know what's alarming about that...these aren't middle aged Whites mired in the legacy ignorance and hatred of the older generations tossing the n-bombs all over the internet...but teens and young adults. I'm half-black, and that wasn't some sort of Klansmen lingo I was throwing out. He danced up on stage and started babbling like a frickin monkey and stole what should have been this poor girl's special moment. If that's offended anyone, then my bad, but I stand by my statement.

Actually you might serve as a proof to an argument point in another thread....but having watched a clip of West's knuckleheadedness I confess to still trying to understand how what he did equates him (in your and apparently similarly inclined folks minds) with a monkey. I mean, when the Becks, Limbaughs, Malkins, virtually every actor/anchor on Faux News spouts off with nonsensical tripe I don't dehumanize them as a rule. Yes...they're varying degrees of racist a$$wipes, idiots, maladjusted fools, etc...and I confess..an occasional... lying sack of dung.... but monkey??

I guess a test for you would be the next time some White, Latin, or Asian buffoon says or does something that REALLY offends or ticks you off... will you see or describe them to others in a public forum... as a monkey.

Hey, I maybe strongly opinionated but he basically called me a lapdog, which is something I believe you are used to being call. Whenever anybody posts something opinionated online, they are basically putting themselves out there, which is another thing you should be used to, and be ready to debate. What we have here at the core of it is a heated debate between two black men over the use of the word nigga (I will not yield from my original post: Kanye West is in deed a nigga). This has some how transformed me into the Larry Elder, Joseph Phillips, Michael Steele, and Jimmie Walker of this forum.

Before I depart this thread and start another one (because even I am starting to grow tired of this one. I can keep going but I'm out of ginseng), let me conclude it with a joke I heard at the barber shop:

Three black men are at St. Peter's in Vactican City, sitting up front while the Pope is giving mass. One of the black men pulls out a bag of peanuts and starts munching on them loudly and dropping peanut shells on the floor, and disrupting the service. One of his friends tells him to knock it off but he tells him its cool and begins eating the peanuts louder and making a bigger mess with the shells. At the end of the service, when the Pope is blessing everybody, he walks up to the black man who had been eating peanuts and it looked like he blessed him (he pointed at his head, pointed down, pointed to the left, and pointed to the right). His two friends asked him "why did the Pope bless you after everything you did", and he says, "The Pope didn't bless me. He told me, 'I want you to pick up those peanuts and I want you to take that nigga there and that nigga right there and I want all of you to get the fuck out of here'."

And yet it seems, (and I think I'm pretty safe in saying this) that while Glenn Beck has done far more damage to the cause of humanity's maturation than Kanye West, he apparently still rates the honorific title of Mr. with you. Not trying to start beef with you man... but I'm just saying.

What exactly is the point of this "joke". Is the pope supposed to be a racist... & I'm talking about in the generic sense used in this story not Pope Benedict. It probably didn't win you any converts in terms of your line of thinking. I'm just confused at what the point of it was.
