DIRECTIONS: The address of the Egyptian Theatre is 6712 Hollywood Boulevard, between Las Palmas and McCadden, just east of Highland Avenue in Hollywood. Selma Avenue is just south of the theatre.

Be patient with me, folks. I’ve begun the process of sprucing things up around here. I’m implementing a slightly modified, but much simplified look that you’ll see everywhere except on the news page, mainly because I haven’t figured out how to swap it out yet. Meantime, let me know about broken links, missing images and the like as you run across them. I’m still transferring a lot of pages over to the new format, so some pages are placeholders, some haven’t been reformatted yet and some are completely missing (like the “Search” function). But I’m working on all of it…
Here’s a link, in case you came here first…

“With Static Shock and Justice League Unlimited now behind him, The World's Finest caught up with Static Shock creator Dwayne McDuffie to discuss, in retrospect, his thoughts on the show. In addition to general comments, changes to the original Static character, troubles with the network and more are discussed in this all-new interview…”
Okay, I’m not done with JLU as far as know but still, there’s an interview with me at a pretty cool website featuring a whole subsection on Static Shock. Click here for the whole thing.

Dwayne’s FF issue got reviewed this week in the Washington Post’s Sunday Source section, in the Media Mix graph for new releases:
What You’ll Love: “McDuffie’s plot deftly juggles the spotlight between the four, all the while showing that Mr. Fantastic’s compassion is as big as his intellect.”

Courtesy Comics Continuum:
The Legion of Super-Heroes will be featured along with Supergirl in an upcoming episode of Cartoon Network’s Justice League Unlimited. In the episode, Supergirl is kidnapped to the 31st century for what the history books say was her last adventure. The Fatal Five appears, as do more than 20 Legionaires. Among the Legion members in the episode are Brainiac 5 and Bouncing Boy.
The Legion’s appearance has nothing to do with the Legion show in development at Warner Bros. Animation.
In other Justice League news,
* Toonami UK has provided a hint at upcoming events in a recent release promoting its January programming. It mentions “a two-part series finale” that “reveal the real reason behind all the super-villain’s recent attacks and lead to the most unexpected team-up in Justice League history.”
* Mark Hamill, who returns to the role of the Trickster 14 years after playing him in The Flash TV series in the “Flash and Substance” episode, will have a “meaty role” in that episode, The Continuum has learned.
