The 90-card base set is highlighted with "Bring on the Bad Guys," "Marvel Battles" and "Sinister Six" subset cards, as well as "X-Men Universe" (two per box), "Marvel Moments" (one per box) and "Marvel Knights" (nine per box) chase sets. Sketch cards from such artists as Chris Bachalo, Dave Johnson, Dan Panosian, Jeff Johnson, Sean Galloway, Randy Green, Jim Cheung, Rian Hughes, Andrew Robinson and Tom Raney will be inserted one per box. The deal which led to the current return of the characters took over a year to hammer out, McDuffie said, and finally worked out issues that had been sticking points in the past. "Milestone wanted to retain ownership, and to insure our ability to protect the integrity of our characters, DC wanted the ability to use the Milestone characters freely in their continuity and to reprint stories at will," McDuffie said. "It was a delicate balance, but I think we both got what we wanted."
